CPD Workshops 2023

CPD Workshops 2023

A diverse and engaging programme

What a year it has been! We pride ourselves on offering a varied programme of CPD workshops each year that bring together a community of experienced practitioners, creating a supportive network to further develop practitioner skills and competencies. 2023 saw the return of our in-person delivery format following a couple of years of online delivery, instigated by the Covid pandemic. The buzz back in our training room on each of these Saturday mornings has been fabulous. We have welcomed a mixture of experienced therapists and training therapists, from our own team as well as those joining us from for the first time, and some returning faces.

Highlights

Our workshop topics have ranged from ‘Let’s Talk About Death!’ to ‘Working with Anxiety: A Compassionate Approach’. We saw a sellout crowd attend ‘No Sex Please! We’re Counsellors’, delving into an exploration of why concerns and issues around sex can feel challenging to discuss for both clients and counsellors at times. One of the highlights of the 2023 programme has been welcoming back a returning workshop speaker, Tony Buckley, to facilitate perhaps our liveliest workshop of the year that saw delegates delve into the power and importance of all thirty two of their senses (yes, your heard me right) in ‘Sense and Sensory Ability’. One of our delegates commented: “I return every year for Tony’s workshops. I love the experiential nature of these days. Tony is clearly an expert in his field, and I go away each time feeling suitably stretched.”

A huge thank you goes out to each of our 2023 workshop facilitators, it has been a delight to work with you all and to learn from your specialist knowledge and expertise.

What's next?

The 2024 CPD workshop programme is almost ready for release. We can’t wait to be able to share it with you, but as a sneak peek, we can say that we are so excited for next year and what will be one of our most diverse and interesting programmes yet!
