Willows is a vibrant team of volunteer clinical staff, a small dedicated team of office and and administration staff and a committed and knowledgeable training team. We are all invested in delivering a high quality service to all of our users.

Teaching at Willows is both an honour and a privilege. As a teaching team, we share a collective belief in quality training that offers encouragement, appropriate challenge and a desire to work at depth in order to support students at all levels to explore and embrace the fullness of who they are. I believe that modelling my own authenticity and vulnerability is one of the greatest gifts I can offer my students.

Willows Tutor

Willows is a special place, every tutor is fully committed to the growth, success and personal development of each and every student. We all have a common goal: to train competent, ethical and resilient counsellors. This requires more than just staff support, it requires tutors to teach from their hearts, to bring their own experience, values and sometimes vulnerabilities into the training room to offer students a truly honest experience. Consequently, students gain a richness of learning from this which is why I teach at Willows; we really care about what we do and the impact it has.

I found both tutors to be extremely knowledgeable in their field: very approachable and helpful with any questions, issues or concerns I had throughout the course.

Level 3 Student

The trauma course without doubt has been the most significant part of my learning journey so far. From both a personal and professional perspective, my learning has been has felt considerably enriched as a result of the 12 months spent studying with Willows.
