The gift of volunteering
On Wednesday 14th August we welcomed a wonderful team from Vets for Pets who spent the day volunteering with us. Even though it rained most of the time, they worked really hard to tidy the front garden and prepare the space for our new pebble feature, as well as clearing and tidying the flower beds in the car park. What a difference they have made! They also gave our training room a fresh coat of paint ready for our new students starting courses in September.
What this means for us
Our staff, students, counsellors and clients will all benefit from these improvements to our environment at Willows. As a small charity with a lovely Victorian building to maintain, we are so grateful to organisations like Vets for Pets who donate time and energy to support us.
